FORT BEEKENBURG | Vi gik en tur til Fort Beekenburg i støvregnen den anden dag, for St nyde udsigten og strække benene. Børnene viste vej, for de var her med efterårscampen for et par uger siden. The kids were leading the way, as they where there with the autumn camp a few weeks ago. The fort was built in 1703 to protect Caracas & Spanish water bays from pirates and attacks from the English navy. It is built in the most beautiful bricks, that was brought here from Holland as ballast in the ships.. .
