OSTRICH FARM | | Vi har hilst på strudse, emuer, krokodiller, påfugle, papegøjer, æsler & en hel del andre dyr på Curacaos strudsefarm. Vi har lært at strudse ikke begraver hovedet i jorden, som tegnefilm ellers har lært os. Derimod lægger øret mod jorden for at lytte efter farer. Vi har også lært at et strudse æg er 15 cm, svarerer til ca. 24 hønseæg i mængden og at det er så stærkt at man kan stå på det. Martin smagte til og med en strudseburger. Det har været en god dag.nn| ENG |nWe have said hello to ostriches, emus, crocodiles, peacocks, donkeys, parrots & a lot of other animals today at the Ostrich farm here on Curaçao. We learned that ostriches actually doesn´t burry their heads in the dirt as shown in the cartoons, they just put their head on the ground to listen for sounds from earth. We also learned that ostriches eggs are around 15 cm, make it out for about two dozen chicken eggs & that you can even stand on it! And Martin had a delicious ostrich burger. It has been a good day….
